Iris has served as Synthekine’s Vice President of Clinical Development Operations since January 2026. Iris has 20 years of overall experience in small biotech, Big Pharma, CRO, academic institution, and private practice, giving her a uniquely comprehensive lens on clinical development. Iris brings deep expertise in operational strategy and execution of global clinical trials across North America, Europe and APAC, leading programs from early phase development through pivotal registration studies.

Prior to her current role she’s held senior leadership positions, including Head of Clinical Operations at TORL BioTherapeutics and IGM Biosciences. Before moving into small biotech space, she built a strong foundation at Genentech where she led global clinical trials across a range of therapeutic areas, including hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and rare diseases, enabling her to navigate the complexity and unique challenges of highly regulated and fast-moving environments.

She also gained extensive hands-on experience at both CRO and clinical sites, providing her with an intimate understanding of operational challenges at every stage, from protocol design and site activation to patient recruitment, and study execution. Iris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology Biology from the University of California, Davis.
